I met Justin through my best friend and his sister, Kirsten. Kirst and I have been friends for 11 years. There was always a natural draw to each other as we always got up to mischief and were often the last ones standing around the fire having a few drinks and talking nonsense. The connection was always there. Justin a few years ago, was in a major accident, while I was oversees. I knew that when I got back to SA, I needed to tell him how I felt about him after all these years. 

Not sure where it would go, I saw Justin the first week I was back in SA on the farm and with some liquid courage, I was able to get the words out. We took things slowly and kept in comms as I was due to go back to Austria a few months later. When I eventually moved back to South Africa, my first person to see was Justin on the farm. Where we spent a magical week together in Mooi River and like before in the shorter moments we spent together. We have been inseparable since. 

Side note: Can reword this as you like, without giving too much away as I’d like to capture some of these moments in my speech, however this is our story.
